I use these lights in a water feature, in the upper and bottom basins and along the water path for a long waterfall and pond. They work great and produce a nice amount of light for the cost. I am pleased.

You must take out 6 small screws to install/replace the batteries. The screws go into plastic and can easily strip. The unit will flood if the screws aren't tight enough but may strip if tightened too much. They are prone to stripping as they are very small. The remote control only works if the lights are NOT submerged and are within 24 inches of the light. Kinda defeats the purpose of having a remote except it's the only way to turn the light off and on. Other than these design flaws, the light works well. I have two lights in my pool and they light it up fine.

The ones I put in my pool slowly filled with water. I opened them up and dried them out. I made sure seal was in good shape and in straight. I tightened screws back up on an alternating pattern so it would seat straight. Still leaked. Also, I had to be right on each light to use remote. They would not work from 3 feet away. I sealed them with silicone at seam and use anyway. I turn then on & off with switch on back.
