You get what you pay for...
You get what you pay for. Upon taking this outta the box, I knew I was in trouble. The unit weighs pratically nothing. If you want a clock and occassionally want to listen to music at low volume- go for it (Grandmother's, UNITE!)! In contrast, if you are at all an audiofile, this unit will disappoint. If you are into rock or other music that you sometimes like to play loud? Keep looking for other boom boxes. This unit has a volume control that limits volume- and likely because it would start to distort at even mildly loud volumes. Also, like so many electronic devices today, manufacturers seem to think the more confusing the device is to operate, the more "sophisticated" it must seem. The volume knob is the type that increases or decreases the longer that you twist the knob left or right (VERY obnoxious!) and you often times have to keep holding the knob until the machine figures out what you are trying to do.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

I WOULD NOT RECOMEN IT TO ANYBODY
