I gave this book to my husband as a gift. He has been wanting to read it because he has read Freakonomics. He's been looking forward to reading it, but he is still finishing another book at the moment and has not had the chance to read it. If it's anything like the first book I'm sure he will enjoy it.

Great book! Compelling, interesting perspective. If you are a deep thinker, you will love the way this book presents arguments (for lack of a better word) and perspectives and viewpoints.

I'd imagine that the overwhelming majority of people who buy this book have already read its predecessor, "Freakonomics." To them I'd say this is one of those rare examples of a sequel exceeding the original. I don't think one need read the original to enjoy this but I'd still suggest doing so. And please don't be put off by the title if you think you have little to no interest in Economics. This is fascinating stuff to anyone who likes to make their mind do a little work. The writers are brilliant guys who think in untraditional fashion, and force the reader to do likewise.
Fantastic book! I bought this bc I read their first book Freakonomics. I disliked nothing, it looked at things you don't usually looked at in numbers and explained it in layman's terms. This is not only good read for everybody, but I think if you know someone who is taking economics; it would be a great gift for them. It brings the numbers to life.
Old library book but still in good shape
