Nice, heavy, solid potting bench. I like the quality. It does take some putting together but simple enough to do. Be sure you use a power drill for driving in the screws. I did stain mine and put a coat of Thompsons water seal. Looks good enough to be a piece of furniture.

The surface area is less than the measurements led me to believe. I needed 24" in depth, but because of the backboard and shelf on top, I can only use this top surface - which gets the sun, which is why I needed that space - for half of what I needed. Also, it was badly packed (things rattling around inside) and one of the straps had come loose and the end tore open in shipping. We were lucky nothing was lost during transit. The bench itself is very nice. We had to add wooden blocks to each leg, to be able to drill holes and mount casters (everything in our garden must be able to be moved, to catch the sun), but we knew that when we bought it. Overall, hard to say either yes or no to the three questions above. I'll give it a 3 out of 5. Had the surface areas on top been accurately represented and the packing and shipping been done better, I would give it a 4. But for well over $200, unassembled, I'm not in love with it. And the carton was too badly damaged to return it.Read full review

Practical with several shelves. Attractive. Wood is lighter in weight than I thought it would be but it is easier to move around this way. Hope it holds up well.

Love this potting table. Practical and beautiful all in one. Going to stain and seal it with some Olympic Cedar Stain Sealer. Can't wait to get it out in the garden. Right height for working as well.
