I've been buying this particular product for 10 years ... they no longer make it in favor of fit bits and other paired to XXX program devices that cost significantly more and produce more fitness mania than I care to think about. It's a good product because it does measure miles or km, steps and calories. I've driven my routes, I know the mileage is accurate. I've run and walked my routes and the calorie count is different so I know it works. The number of steps varies little depending on my own stride that day - you can set it, I do not. Batteries are readily available and cheap. The only "negative" is that the device is cheap plastic and needs to be handled carefully - but what these days doesn't?
