Highly recommend this unit. Sound is excellent - sharp and clear - with an adequate amount of bass. Pretty amazing, all in all. One feature that is not well promoted is the fact that it does very well as a speaker phone. Clear pickup and sound for hands free calling. Price is outstanding as well. I've bought several as gifts for family and friends. Am now a big fan.

There is a short (half second) interruptions in every 20-25 second in Bluetooth mode wile streaming Youtube videos from my laptop. Sound quality is between okay and good. Battery is very good, keeping charche over 13-16 hours on 50% of volume.

This is the second Soundbot speaker I've purchased. My previous unit was the SB572. Very similar to the SB571 although there are some notable improvements on this version. The sound is just as loud and crisp. The best I've heard from a small BT speaker of this size. It is a bit limited on bass but does well considering it's size. Putting it against a wall does round out the bass. This unit has a much easier to use power switch. It also doesn't have an annoying loud beep confirmation for power on/off, BT connecting, BT pairing. The old SB572 was super loud for all of these functions and there was no way to turn it down. It also didn't matter if the volume was left at a low setting on the speaker. The rest of the speaker seems to be identical to the old unit. The old unit worked very well and lasted for a long time. It finally met it's demise when I dropped it on a hard tile floor from chest height. It still worked but there was a minor rattling in the lower tones. Overall the unit proved to be very resilient. Hopefully, I'll get the same longevity out of the newer SB571 model. One thing that is a bit annoying with the SB571 is that when you have multiple devices paired with it they will interfere with each other. You'll hear pauses in the music as the second device tries to connect to it. you can either manually cancel the connection attempt from the second device or just keep a one device paired with the SB571 at a time. I do the latter since it's a pain to always cancel the connection attempt on a second device. Other than that minor grip the unit is excellent!Read full review

After buying two SoundBot 520 models and experiencing the same failure, but loving the sound, I bought a SoundBot 521 and I'm delighted. Though it's considerably smaller it's big on sound; a full range and balanced bass. Due to it's size it's more portable/pocketable. Neither are waterproof, but I don't listen to music in the rain or shower. Bluetooth connect is easy and quick with voice verification. It holds a signal well even from the next room. If you want big sound for smalls buck but one. You won't be disappointed. P.S. The failure of the bigger 520s was that the charging jacks both broke free from the circuit board and were not repairable on account of that.

Have played the SoundBot for over fifteen hours continuously and still didn't require a charge. Charging in just a few hours. Perfect with an iPod shuffle. Sound is clear, lots of bass as well = can hear everything. Tough little unit and easy to take with you. Price can't be beat!
