I feel it was misleading, but that was my fault,. Does it help with desoldering yes, Does it do a good job helping with desoldering , not really. But, like everything else in life, YOU GET WHAT U PAY FOR. If you are looking for something MUCH cheaper to help with desoldering ie, small semiconductors on PCB's, Go for it. Again, if you want cheap, go for it.It will work.."Practice makes perfect" . Good Luck.
