I am loving this machine so far. Having the brand, Sizzix made me feel confident that it would be good. I had the original big shot from 30 yrs ago and it still works but my arthritis could not turn the handle anymore.

Product not in working order
I ordered this Big Shot in Good faith that it was in working condition, when I receive, I was so excited to start using it. I opened the box plugged it in set up my first embossing folder, pushed the button and it started to roll the embossing folder about only 1 inch only to make a horrible struggling noise and stop dead in it's tracks! I tried other dies and embossing folders only to receive the same exact result! I am so disappointed : (( I really have wanted this for such a long time. I still dont have one; ((

Works for Me!
I have arthritis and find that the continue "cranking" of my old Big Shot was causing problems with my shoulder joints. While this would not be a problem for most people, I create a large number of cards at a time, so I over-use these joints. This machine will definitely help.
