My whole rubber sole peeled off on one of my workout K-Swiss shoes plus the sole on the other shoe had started to pull away. I used Shoe Goo to repair both shoes and it worked great. I also used it to repair a garden watering can that had a crack/leak in it. It worked great for that too. I highly recommend it!!!!

I don't really know what would make it better. I had read after an online search that this was the product that would work for my problem boots. I have a pair of Hunter rubber boots that I use when working around the turn out enclosure for my horse. The boots are a few years old, but had not been used daily until recently. There were no issues with the boots when I started back to using them daily. After awhile I noticed where my foot flexed there were "tears" in the rubber. So after getting this glue I set out to fix the tears. I did three layers with the recommended time in between and then the recommended longer time until I finally used them. Just 2 uses after the repair, the tears under the glue developed a bubbles were you could see there was no adhesion. Also the glue started to pull away from the boot around the edges of the repairs. Different adhesives are good for different purposes. Shoe Goo has an advantage that is sticks to most things quite firmly and it remains flexible. Its disadvantage is that it does not necessarily stick permanently; it tends to peel off somewhat easily if it is subjected to sideways abrasion or rubbing. Thus, while I do not use Shoe Goo for a large number of things, I find it good for patching rubber rafts and similar items, and for adhering items in a layered, compressed or tensioned manner, something like contact cement. It is a standard presence in my box of adhesives.

My Family has been using this product for two generations. With todays manufacturing procedures it is not uncommon for a sole to begin to separate from the shoe. An application of this product solves the issue. The repair process is simple and only takes a few minutes. My experience is that the repair outlasts the shoe. I keep a tube of this in the house at all times. It is invaluable.
