A great product but the silver color is not really silver in color. It has a light bue/grayish hue to it. That does not affect the performance, but if you are trying to color match components, it's very misleading. Otherwise it is a great product.

I bought these as an upgrade to some cheapies but found out right away that they don't fit the bosses on either fork I intended to use them on. The bosses are the correct diameter but the brake itself is too shallow to allow the brake to go fully onto the boss and the spring tail doesn't even reach the hole! Obviously there is a brake boss somewhere in the universe that will allow the use these brakes but I can't find it. I've read these brakes are available with the bosses and should you order these brakes I'd make sure that they come with the bosses or that the brakes will fit your current bosses. So now my better "upgrade" brakes get tossed in the parts box ($50 down the crapper) and the pot metal Chinese junk goes back on the bike.

Upgrading the cheapo squealing brakes on my Sun beach cruiser. These fit with no problems. No squeals and quick solid stops. Look great too.

I used these to upgrade the brakes on 1992 Trek 820. Took about an hour to complete the job. Look and work fine.
