I clean people's homes, cars and other items for a living! Living in Oklahoma we have a lot of dust and red dirt that gets through even the best made homes! I have used every one of my client's vacuums and accessories and the Shark 3 in 1 I have used in their homes have been one of the best to clean fans, ceiling fans, blinds of any kind to get the majority of the dust and dirt off! The only thing inconvenient thing I have found about this product is NOTHING!! It works great in homes, on stairs with the lift away feature, in cars with the crevice tool and pretty much everywhere else, I have used this vacuum. That is why I just switched from being a Dirt Devil customer for over 20 years to being a Shark Owner!!! SPECTACULAR PRODUCT!

The sucction is excellent and rather quiet. The filtration is also stoping very small particles making vacuum cleaning much less irritating to my allergic nose. The emptying is super easy too. In the cons : this thing is very heavy ! The general shape is bulky and you can forget reaching under a chair or table. The cable is always in the way and extrenely annoying. It gets caught in rotator pretty often. The extention arm comes with two tools, one classic fine tube and one with a wind activated rotator which is useless because of the very precise angle at which it needs to be used, forget that when you have to simultaneously carry the 30 pounds device in the stairs and make sure the cable doesn't get in the way. Finally when using the arm, if the user goes just a little too far, the whole vacuum cleaner would loose its balance and fall on the ground, this and the shape/weight ratio are the two features that need urgent improvement for next versions.Read full review

I got this refurbished unit after having owned a new unit. The new one had the main hose replaced twice due to it cracking at the bend near the handle. Pretty expensive ($75 plus shipping). But the vacuum was the best I've ever used so I wanted another one. This refurbished unit was only a few bucks more than the replacement hose/handle assembly so I couldn't loose. The refurbished unit arrived and appeared like new. Worked great for about 3 minutes then the main beater-bar/roller brush stopped spinning. Not sure why, but after flipping the unit over and pushing the roller button a few times, rotating the head back and forth a few times, it suddenly started spinning and all has been well ever since. Can't beat this vacuum for suction and ease of use.

I love this vacuum. It is very powerful and easy to use. One caveat: it is bulky and heavy, which is okay for my lifestyle, but could be a problem for others. It can be removed from the base for ceilings and high spots. The roller brush can be turned on or off for carpets or hardwoods. It's wands makes crevice cleaning a breeze. Even though it's bulky, it rotates enough on it's base so it turns pretty well. It's easy to clean.

Just received the vacuum but it went together easy and does a great job. I had just used my old vacuum but decided to try the Shark Professional. It picked up lots of fine dust and dirt even though I had just finished doing the vacuuming the same day. The rotating head makes getting in low spots possible and the lift off canister is great for areas that you cannot get to otherwise. Great purchase and have already recommended it to my sister.
