I bought this vacuum because I have two cats that shed a lot and track litter, and my old vacuum couldn't pick everything up. I was skeptical to buy a refurbished product, but aside from some very minor scratches on the casing, the vacuum was mint. I tested it out by vacuuming my living room first with the old vacuum, then with the Shark to see how well it would perform... it picked up over 2 1/2 cups of dirt, hair, and litter from my carpet. Pictures included. This is a great vacuum... the suction can't be beat, I don't think my floor has ever been cleaner.

It does not swivel steering and made of very weak material. My older Shark Vacuum was much better. I am very disappointed. Next time i go to local store to see the item before to purchase.

Time will tell concerning durability but this vacuum does have great suction and stiff brushes help clean the carpet deeply. Good item. Needs more and better cleaning attachments. Wand reach is too short, additional wand section is needed. No HEPA exhaust filter? It's 2019 not 1920. Power cord too short. Even with these issues this vacuum performs pretty well, better than many..

I purchased this vacuum after using my friends. I loved hers and was anxious to get my own. It was a refurbished model but looked brand new in the manufacturers box. I've had it for about a month now and for the $80, it's a great vacuum. It gets close to the edges of my baseboards, has a powerful suction and the canister empties easily. The long power cord is a plus also. I feel it out performs any Bissell I've had and can give a Dyson a run for the money at a fraction of the cost. I have no regrets with this purchase!
