I own a couple pairs of Sennheiser headphones already that are wired. HD 380 pro and HD 800. Large ear openings and comfortable to wear for hours. The HD1 have excellent sound quality but the ear opening is quite a bit smaller and sits on top of my ear pressing it against my head. While the foam is very soft the pinch isn’t comfortable after about 30 minutes especially if moving around which also allows the cans to move off my ear a bit. Looked at Bose 35 and Sony wh-1000xm3. My ear fit completely inside both cups comfortably and they stayed sealed to head for effective noise cancelling. Purchased the Sony xm3 as I like the touch features and app is great for adjusting noise cancelling, equalizer setting for different type music and the sound quality is on par with HD1 and 35 for a Bluetooth set.Read full review

Good headphones, but the sound is a little too bright. I am hoping after a few hundred hours of burn-in that they will sound better. Honestly, I feel like my old Bose QC 3’s sound better right now - and have a firmer grip on my ears. I’ll give it some time though, and will compare again in a couple months.

Got about 3 days of use with these. I'm a landscaper and cut grass 10hrs a day. I'm constantly adjusting these because they're not as comfortable as my old 630vb(best headphones I've ever owned). The cans should be a bit bigger... These will probably be better for people with smaller ears. Overall great for the price. Better sound quality than I expected for the price.

These were $500 when they came out, got them “open box” for $240...they’re awesome. The blue tooth gets a little choppy once in a blue moon, but I wear these things during my NYC commute every day and they’re perfect for me. Better than the Sennheiser HD4.4 and the Beats Studio Wireless, I’ve owned both.

The good....great sound quality, ease of use, and simple, clean workmanship. The not so good...very heavy on your head, not to be worn for long periods of time without some discomfort from weight of headphones. It's a great quality product, but a bit on the heavy side, for headphones..
