Watch Journal I prefer watches in the 36mm-40mm diameter range and this diver falls right in the middle. It is a touch top heavy since it's 13mm thick but is still very comfortable with a 44mm lug to lug length. I seriously considered dropping 5 times the money on Omega's Seamaster or an Oris but decided I'd be too worried about damaging it. The whole point of a diver is it's toughness and the SKX013 has that in spades. The 7s26 movement is legendarily simple but tough. Now, let's talk about the Modification Community. Over time I realized that if you don't like your Seiko as it is you can upgrade the movement, dial face, watch hands, chapter rings, stems, bezel rings, bezels inserts, crystal (domed, double domed, flat, top hat) and probably a few other things I've forgotten. Beyond that a lot of those items can be selected according to your favorite lume material (C3, BGW9, C1, Lumibrite, SuperLuminova). Instagram is rich with lots of parts specialists. Lucas Artelier, Namoki, Crystal Times, and WR Watches are also good sources for parts. If you don't want to brave doing your own there are a ton of guys (like Lume Shot on YouTube). My point is that you can HIGHLY personalize this watch if you're willing to go down that rabbit hole. Good luck sifting through the ocean of divers and don't be "Late for (your) Very Important Date", Rabbits! Read full review

Item I received wasn't working. I wasn't able to even size it so I wasn't able to tell if it was comfortable or if I liked it. I loved the fact that it was smaller and I loved the look of it. The one I received wouldn't charge up. It seemed to have a problem with the rotor not moving.

If you are looking for this watch, you already know how amazing the SKX series is. However, please note that pics on the internet does not do justice. In reality if you are someone who wears larger watches (41mm,42mm+) the skx013 can be quite small for your wrist. Fortunately I have skinny wrists and this wears really well. The small size did took me sometime to get used to. But after a while I couldn't stop wearing it. Also this is a strap monster, you can wear so many styles of straps. Extremely happy with this purchase. Buy them while they last!

This is an amazing value. I don't know how Seiko does it, but I'm glad that it makes this gorgeous watch. It feels great on the wrist. It is accurate. It has a screw down crown. I have an 8-inch wrist and even though this is classified today as a mid-size watch, I find the size just right. Not clunky at all. It's about the same size as a DateJust and slightly taller. Simply put, if you just need a watch with good water resistance then this will do fine. If you want a watch to show off, then this is not for you because it is all about quality not flash. If you're into watches, then you will be smitten.

Seiko makes one of the best dive watches out there, regardless of price! I’ve had Rolex, Omega Seamaster, Tag Heur....none of those even come close to Seiko quality and reliability. They are a steal at just a couple hundred bucks. I own 2 and this 3rd one is for my daughter.
