CVA Muzzleloader Pistol Holster,
Great fit with the scope on pistol. Looks well built. The only problem I found was the velcro flap is really noisy when you open the flap. To remedy the problem .I Cut the stitching for the velcro piece and sewed it back on in line with the flap, so the flap can go under the velcro piece for use in the field, and you can still use the velcro if you want to. The straps are a good fit. I just need a better way to hold the bottom tight to my body. Great fit with the scope on pistol. Looks well built. The only problem I found was the velcro flap is really noisy when you open the flap. CVA V2 Pistol w Red Dot
Fits CVA V2 Pistol with low profile red dot very well. One thing that is a huge drawback, Velcro for both flaps. One flap should be snap or buckle to ensure quiet opening in the field. Most pistol hunters do not have the pistol laying out during hunting. They keep it inside the holster until it's time to shoot. Having to open with deer near by, will quickly get there attention, regardless how slow you release the velcro. Snap or buckle flap release would be nearly undetected. The material is more cloth, not canvas. Material is fairly think, but there is no hard formed mold internals for more protection. Will it endure exposure walking through woods, brush, and thorns without snagging, not sure. Overall, good purchase, just wished there was a snap closure for opening while in the deer ...
