When First installed it, it failed
When I first installed this product, it would not (could not) be recognized by my computer. I tried may things but none allowed this flash drive to be recognized by my PC. I even tried it on another pc...No Luck. Then I tried to partition it and suddenly it worked, Now all is fine. I have no idea why it failed initially but by partitioning it, it became recognizable by the pc. This may just been a problem with this one flash drive since I have used others of the same brand and had no problems, It now works fine and is fast.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Great Drive and easily format to NTFS if you cannot work with exFAT
These 64gb and higher thumb drives are using this exFAT32 formatting that not only slows down in my windows 7 systems but my windows 10 cannot really read them well at all. Also I like to put movies and shows on the chip and plug them into my USB ports on my TVs and watch them. TV does not recognize the exFAT format. So I format in NTFS and all is FINE. However I've used PNY thumb drives and they always get wrecked when I attempt to format NTFS (Unusable). The SanDisc Cuzers ALWAYS format NTFS perfectly and run flawlessly. Don't cheap out on these
This is the second SanDisc flash drive I have owned. Copying larger files over a GB is fast an reliable. In the past, I tried to "cheap out" and get some no name flash drive that was dirt cheap. I was very disappointed. It copied painfully slow and I often had corrupt unusable files after the copy. I don't want to sound like a commercial for memory, but you really do get what you pay for. My data is important to me... So is my time. I have learned not to compromise on flash memory if you are going to me copying large amounts of data. The SanDisc drives have served me well. Another thing I like about these is that they open and close with the slide mechanism. There is no cap to lose and they travel well in the front pocket. Unexpensive flash drive from a reliable manufacturer
It is a good pen drive for recording files once and read many times. It starts recording fast but the speed considerably slows down when the writing progresses.
