I hooked it up and it was very easy to get it going. Channels were fewer than I expected but the one's I did get were great quality. Free TV, not bad for under $10 bucks and no monthly cable bill.

The reviews online for this say it is the best overall budget friendly antenna... At first it worked ok picking up around 30 channels (only a handful in HD) but now even with it mounted high on a window has sketchy reception at times. No trees in my area and not in a valley. If you don't mind getting up to move it around until a channel comes in and only need it for local channels occasionally (when NFL isn't on Sling for me) then it's a good deal for the price.

this antenna performed much better than i expected and is identical to the more expensive winegard i have a huge roof antenna but i didn't want to run a cable all the way around my house for bedroom so i went with this and did very well of course i didn't get as many channels as the roof one but still got 13 out of 35 not bad.

I was really hoping I would get much better reception but even living in upstairs apt placing the antenna on the window and not only did I only get about 8, maybe 10 channels,, but 2-3 of them are constantly messing up :( I know it's just an antenna, the better line of sight you are to towers etc,, , it just doesn't seem to pick up signals very strong.
