My hands were hurting and it seemed impossible. What I figured out to do was to use something thin to help me. I think it was the edge of a credit card to slide it between the case and the iPad to slip it together. So far it works well. I have not dropped it. The button on the front bottom is a little tough to push now while encased.

I have a special needs child and this is the only case that he can;t open,he also throws it all over and have had other case like this and so far nothing is wrong with it after a year, so yes this is a great product to have,,he is 16 years but a mind of a one yesr old..so he dose have alot of strength

It arrived quickly and was packaged well. The package included 2 rolls of hook and loop Velcro which was generous. Will see how the Velcro attachment lasts but even if it fails the draft blocker can still be used by pushing it up against the door bottom to block air flow, light etc. The material seems sturdy and is filled with some kind of crushed rock or sand. Good seller.
