This speaker stand I like due to its size. It lends itself mightily when one sits on standard sized furniture. (Sorry Ikea.) Sturdy no nonsense bookshelf stand. I filled mine with tiny pebbles for sturdiness and the plastic backings were really strained. Again this stand lets my monitors sing to your FACE! Spikes are a little on the smallish side but will work on most non shags. I a satisfied with the isolation factors of this stand. You look at them an say, ...nah they wont make a difference. Well they do. You can use them with trust. Sure there are lots better. ...but we are talking VALUE here!

Basic easy to assemble. Decently (is that a word?) finished pressboard. Couple of screw holes were stripped even before attempting to tighten at all. They do the job. Cable management is fine. Do like the plastic spikes that aren’t too sharp so don’t damage floors. I’m looking for better ones.

add few more to buy better stand. This is looking great on photos, in reality it's cheap compressed wood painted with a black paint which smells awful. Screws for wood are also smaller than holes, I put bigger one to assemble solid. It's not worth $42. Don't waste your money. Just think twice.

These are packed very nicely in protective sleeves in the box. They feel like wood that is coated in a black acoustic-absorbing coating. If you want to assemble this with no problems, use a manual handheld screwdriver, NOT a power drill or anything motorized. As this is a product you have to assemble like something from IKEA, the trick that HELPS TREMENDOUSLY is that you should use an old soap bar and roll the screw threads in it before you use the screws. This way they screw smoothly, you don't split the wood, and you don't encounter any problems. This also works for the plastic pegs that push into the bottom. No issues whatsoever doing it this way. I feel that I got a great deal on this and with good value. I recommend you use this for rear/side surrounds or if you have a less than 20lb speaker to place on this. The speakers sit on top of rubber corner pads, nothing to mount to permanently, but you could always get double sided pads to use if you wish to make it more permanentRead full review

I am skeptical of any flat packed product. However these hold my heavy polk speakers with ease. Key feature to design is the rug feet. Makes the stand very secure. Very stylish design, perfect foe book shelf speakers. I needed to enlarge the top hole for the heavy cable to fit. Over all great product. I bought two sets.
