Good for a back but not for a knee.
It’s large enough to cover totally knee but doesn’t stay in place w/ o a ace bandage or wrap of some sort, also doesn’t seem to stay cold as long as a gel type pack with plastic thinner covering. Might be good for a back

A great product
It was the right size for on my swollen ankle. Used it cold. I did find that it was to cold too put next to my ankle, i know it said to wrap in a towel. I found this clumsy. I made a flannel cover with valcro, for my 4" x10" gel pack I just slipped the gel pack into the cover. It keeps the gel pack clean, and not touch my skin. 265310290789

Stay cold gel pack
Have a freezer gel pack I have been using and really liked. Had been searching online and in stores for the same product. This was the closest I could find. It got cold quickly in the freezer and stays cold for over an hour. You can mold it to fit comfortably, and I like the dimensions. It is a bit thinner than the one I had been using, but, works great!
