Great product for macro photography but the focus ring travel at 5ft+ is too narrow. I thought I could use it for portraits as much as macro but that's not the case. Focusing for portraits is very hard because of the small focus travel of the ring. I have many other manual lenses but this one is the hardest for focusing closer to infinty. Would have been better if they made the travel 300 degrees and not 180...

Rokinon makes good value lenses, and I’ve been happy with my other ones, but this one let me down. It has a slightly cheap deal to it, and the plastic aperture ring doesn’t help things. Picture is sharp, so no complaints on that.
