I was excited to try this noise cancelling tech on a long plane ride and ripped open the package when it arrived. Nicely packaged, great case with a biner and everything, adapters as well. I switched it on and nothing, checked batteries??hmmmm. it seems the ear cups did the only cancelling I could detect. I did read instructions, verify input and batteries were fresh, so easy stuff eliminated. Maybe my expectations were too high, maybe jet noise is too difficult to mask.

Sonic quality is very good . Noise cancellation is similar to other N.C. headphones Over ear design is fairly comfortable and helps physically block out sound . The connecting piece that goes over the head is a bit stiff , so I take care not to pull them apart when putting them on ; rather gently pull them down over the ears , so as to avoid undue stress on the unit . I mention this because other reviewers have complained of easily snapping the band . By the way , I paid $25.00 on eBay for them (new ,open box) and am very pleased with the over all sound , etc. I am a musician/ recording engineer and distortion and highly colored sound annoys me , so , just buy them and be cautious in taking them on and off
Pretty nice headphones. A little bright on the top end but still solid and cheap. The noise cancel function cuts out background noise and seems to change the sound quite a bit but not in a good way. I don't recommend using the noise cancellation for music because of the alteration in sound. Still, it's good for cutting noise for movie watching. The sound quality with it off is very good and these phones are capable of getting quite loud and with punchy bass. I recommend these for a good solid pair on a budget. All in all they are better than I expected by a long shot!
I have owned a wide variety of noise cancelling headphones ranging from Bose, through to Voxson. The unit itself the travel case is well built. The headphones fit very tightly on your head. The idea of rechargeable battery (mini USB) is also good. Unfortunately, the noise cancelling technology is next to useless. Turn it on, or turn off it makes no difference. The only noise cancelling that you get from these headphones,is the cancelling effect that takes place when the ear covers go over your ears. Personally, you're better off spending a few extra dollars and going for the Voxson brand of noise cancelling headphones. Although they are not in the same league as Bose, they are exceptional value for money
I needed a pair of active noise reducing headphones for work (CDL Driver over the road). Looked over many types and settled on these due to the price and solid manufacture. The active noise cancelling feature works well, sound quality much better than expected, comfort for long term usage is excellent, and is perhaps the best value out there for these types of headphones in the price range
