Oh. Dear. God. Mel Brooks' wonderful parody of Robin Hood has the tagline, "The legend had it coming! ". After what i just watched, the legend certainly didn't deserve this! I'm referring to Robin Hood The Ghost of Sherwood. What an abysmal piece of crap! Its as if some local I've seen better acting in community theatres! The acting is so bad, the fighting so obviously rehearsed, and the music at the end is annoying. The actors don't even remotely sound like they're trying to portray a character. Somehow, the lack of use of contractions in speaking is supposed to make it more believable or formal? It almost raises Jonas Armstrong's Robin up to Robin of Sherwood levels (easily one of the best Robin Hood interpretations I've ever seen). Ugh! The stuff Kevin Costner rubbed on himself in Prince of Thieves is better entertainment.Read full review

This movie is really bad. Actors act like they are reading direct from the script. Have seen school plays better. A Class full of grade schoolers taking turns reading the script aloud would have done a better job. Script is bad, actors are bad, everything is just plain bad.
waste of time and money, nothing but blood and guts and nothing like a real Robin Hood.
