This camera works good for daytime motion detection. However at night, the bugs that are attracted to the infra red lights will cause it to false alarm continuously. The 16G card inside will use up 8G of memory during a single night. It might use 500Meg during the daytime. You would need to get a camera that has a true motion detector if you are concerned about nighttime motion detection. But for simple home use during the day, it works well. The picture is very clear.

The camera quality is very well constructed. Very good video although the software needs work. Nest Cam software allows quick clip previews of the longer version of the actual video that was tripped by motion or sound. I feel the Riolink software would be better in a commercial environment, store or factory rather a residence. The Riolink software only indicates time of motion or sound where Nest software shows a “quick clip” of each triggered action.

I use both Blue Iris software to run 2 Reolink cameras, another IP camera, and a USB camera and all works fine. I also like their Android phone App for monitoring the Reolink cameras. This purchase was for my second Reolink RLC 410S, so I guess that answers the question would I buy another one(?).

Have only done preliminary testing with this camera. So far it's image quality is outstanding. Audio pick up is good. Construction of the housing is very sturdy.
