We are very pleased with this 100W unit to meet our camping needs and would recommend it to others. Unlike camping with solar roof panels, this allows us to park the camper in the shade while placing the panels in the sun. We are able to run the fan, heater and the lights. It allows us to camp on sites where there is no electric service giving us greater flexibility. It is manageable in size and the case provides good protection for the panels. The controller allows us to see the progress of the charging. It allows us to see the efficiency of the sunlight it is receiving so that we can change the position of the panels as needed. In our first use, the charging stopped and we assumed it was complete. The next day when we set up, we discovered a wire had become unattached. The controller is attached to a hinged plate with double sided tape and came off when we tried to move the plate to be able to see the readings. We plan to attach it to the plate with screws provided. We also plan to purchase an extension to allow us more flexibility in moving the panels for greater efficiency. #AdventureUninterruptedRead full review

Brace a little flimsy, the case is nice but offers no impact protection. I cut 2 pieces of old ensulite pad to pad each sides of the panel, also change out MC4 to Anderson quick connectors. Ready for Winter sun. Wiring should be at least 10 gauge, but came with 12 awg, but that is also easily up-gradable. Getting couple of small sandbags to weight down brace legs if wind is a issue. Overall, unit is okay, not top of the line, which cost twice as much.

Works well and keeps my camper's lead acid 29 series battery fully charged. I added a 10' long extension cord to it (made out of 10 gauge "flexible welding wire") to allow for more solar access in some camping spots. Packs away and stores easily when not in use.

I bought this for our travel trailer when we camp without electric hookups. We have 260 amp hours of battery power on the trailer and after a cold winter night of running the heater (fan), I need to charge the batteries to keep them higher than 50% after each night. This "briefcase" solar panel kit is perfect! I also purchased a solar tracker on wheels that I set the portable solar panels on top of and it follows the sun and gets my batteries charged correctly, with the attached solar charge controller and hookup wiring kits. I also purchase a plug for the solar connection on the side of my trailer, so I plug it into the trailer, and walk away. Awesome product.

Good solid 100w solar suitcase. The price was less than half of the Zamp solar suitcase and I'm sure it works just as well. I also like how lightweight and portable it is (19 lbs.) Renogy could improve this suitcase by improving the quality of the legs. Overall I am very happy with this purchase.
