Works well, but terrible battery life
Bought this boresight as a gift for one of my many old service buddies. He says it works very well outdoors. Focus is tight enough to use indoors. He did say it burns through a set of batteries in just a few minutes though. I dont know how many of the button cells it takes, but it arrived with several included. Maybe better quality batteries will help?

Horrible
Broke after first use. Was fine putting it in, but I couldn't get it out. Closed the bolt figuring the extractor would remove it when I pulled the charging handle back, but no. Still stuck, laser on. Ok, well I gently put a cleaning rod down the barrel and ever so slightly poked down, it came out, and despite the diameter of the cleaning rod being big enough there's no way it could have touched the lense, the laser suddenly stopped functioning after it fell out. This is the SECOND ONE I'VE HAD THAT HAS BROKEN AFTER SINGLE USE LIKE THIS. The other one I loosely bore sighted where I wanted it to be to save some rounds at the range, was able to pull it out, and laser suddenly went out when nothing happened to it. Took the batteries out, put them back in, laser flickered, then nothing. Put in ... Broke after first use. Was fine putting it in, but I couldn't get it out. Bore sight red laser
Spend a little money and buy a higher quality product. The laser in mine was off at over 2” at 20 feet. Since I had purchased a cheaper product I accepted the loss and bought a slightly more expensive one that worked good.

Laser not aligned properly.
I used it to align my red/Green Dot optic up and upon going to shoot I found that it was shooting high right. I adjusted my red dot and got it zeroed in with my shots. The bore sight is showing high right compared to where it is actually shooting. I'm unsure as to why it is off when the laser is coming out of the bore but it is. Other than that it is a solid product.

Would not buy another one
Did not work. Set scope to laser on target and was a foot off. Went back and set scope by rounds and I was ok again. Laser had me not even hitting the paper.. Guess the laser was not set right. I will stick to fire a round set scope to hit and go from there again...
