Had my M9 for about 25 years. Have always wished it to have rail capabilities. Bought this as soon as I learned about it and it arrived quickly and looks great. Took only five minutes to install. Put a Streamlight M-6 Tactical Laser Illuminator on it. It slips on the new grip system perfectly and smoothly. Fit and finish only required a 30 second brush with sandpaper where the two halves come together under the trigger guard to smooth the edges of the molding where my short, chubby fingers rubbed against it. It looks and fits like it came that way. Love it.

Fits well, easy install. I gave it 4 stars only because I think it could have been made a bit thicker.

Fits my 92FS to a T. Looks sharp and ups the gun's capabilities via slotted rail. Slap on the rubber or granulate grips that are out there, which are specifically meant for use with this grip & rail unit and you're well-upgraded for a low price.

I have been carrying my Beretta 92 for years. I carried in the military and continued to carry in my civilian job as a police officer. The reason I wanted this conversion was so that I could add the tac light and not be forced to transition to the Glock as was our new department policy for anyone "changing weapons." I received the kit and with a quick stippling job on the grips I loved it! However, you can't find a holster to fit it. I see they have produced some for the 1911 platforms but, why not the Beretta's? Unfortunately I am now carrying the Glock, of which I have never been a huge a fan despite all the F-ing hoop la. Building grips and mods for pistols and not designing a holster to fit it is like building a deer rifle that is not scope compatible. They go together, there is a symbiotic relationship folks. I'm still kinda irked about the fact I cant find a holster to carry my pistol in even off duty. Now it's just an expensive paper weight.....Until I put the old grips back on...... Deputy E. I bought this for my 92S knowing that I would need to do a bit of handiwork. Taking my time to do the work carefully, it took me about an hour to make the necessary modifications. The photos show the grips in the original OD Green, and again after painting them with black Rustoleum High Performance Enamel and trimming a bit more off the bottom. The areas that needed grinding down with a Dremel was all the way around the trigger guard. I then had to shave off just a tiny bit more right in front of the trigger so that it closes tightly with no space between the two panels underneath the dust cover. I also removed some of the meat on the inside of the right panel directly opposite of the mag release button. That is necessary for the release to work. I drilled out a hole for the magazine release button. It looks nicer than grinding off the entire corner of the panel where the mag release is. However, don’t expect lightning fast mag changes doing it this way. For defensive use, I believe grinding out that corner is best, like how the original stock 92S grips have the cutout. I cut the corner out after taking the first pics. Taking it to the range I found that the Beretta shot exactly the same as with other grips. It was not any thicker at the grip like many think. The trigger works perfectly, so the panels are not in the way. One more change I made is I shaved off just a tiny bit of material near the bottom of the grips. If you look closely at the pictures I before I painted them with black enamel, you’ll see it protrudes just a tiny bit. That little bit was digging into my hands sharply. It feels much better now. The holster you see is a leather OWB thumb break model made for a SIG P226R. It fits like a glove. So if you want a rail for your 92S and are prepared to do a bit of Dremel and filing work, this is an awesome solution for you!Read full review
