This is so very easy to attach--takes just a few minutes to screw 4 screws with the Allen wrench provided. This is an absolute MUST for anyone with arthritic hands and shoulder pain. It has eliminated my pain when propping up my feet in my recliner. GREAT tool. Very sturdy and doesn't even show if you have a table next to you!!!

Bad choice for me
Product features are contradictory. One place (in red) it states tool not included. Later it says use the handy tool included. Will NOT work on tapered handles (Lane brand & others) although it says "fits ALL types of recliners".. Would have returned except shipping cost is high due to weight of product.

Works great....should be an option for all mechanical lever recliners
I purchased this for use after I had surgical repair of tendons on my right hand. The lever for my chair is on the right side and I knew I would be unable to use my right hand to elevate the chair for some time after the surgery. I tried using my left hand, bur the reach across was awkward, clumsy and hurt my left shoulder. It works so well that I will leave it in place for always. When my right hand is again usable, it will make it easier to elevate the chair to a reclining position. It is very easy to install and use....overall a great addition for anyone who owns a mechanical functional lever recliner.I purchased this for use after I had surgical repair of tendons on my right hand. It is of heavy duty materials and should last for years to come for other chairs when this one has bitten the dust. As a 79 year old with a bad shoulder to work the lever this is a Godsend to make reclining my chair much easier. My thanks to you for selling it and to the manufacturer for building it.
