    I release this is a cheap bumper, but im disappointed . Some shipping damage but nothing that some touch up paint won’t fix, but the fitting is horrible, the mounting holes didn’t line up so I had to drill my rear cross member for it to work, then the tire carrier fits so loose on the stud that it’s literally going to rattle apart. Also it does not work with the stock license plate bracket like it says. So now I got to buy another bracket to make that work. Good seller just bad product

    The tire carrier latch is almost a 2 person operation, but other than that it carrys a 35" spare tire with just alittle wiggle. I suspect that after some wheeling it's going to need some welding and reinforcements.

      Lacks Quality Control and IS NOT A DIRECT FIT

      The bumper/tire rack IS NOT A DIRECT FIT for any Jeep Wrangler YJ. It was delivered with several bangs and paint chips, no installation instructions, and no bearings for the swing tailgate. Once installed you can no longer use the hinged license plate holder that conceals the gas tank cap. None of the holes for mounting lined up and we had to drill out the bumper frame on the Jeep and could not use all the attachment points to secure the bumper to the frame of the Jeep. I would not recommend this bumper/spare tire unit for a Jeep YJ.
