I bought these for Specialized S-works, Crux carbon cranks, which they were not made for, and didn’t quite fit. Finally it dawned on me to use a heat gun to soften up the boots and stretch them on, thinking they were some kind of thermo plastic. Nope. At least at the temperature I was willing to heat them to. With the boots real hot, and wearing thick leather gloves, lots of swearing and all my body weight stretching them on, I could get the pedal spindle into the hole. I still had to ‘tire iron’ the edge of the boot spindle hole over the pedal flange as I installed the pedals, but they fit. I highly recommend crank boots for carbon cranks. (Specialized doesn’t make boots for my cranks.)
