I have 4 work lights that I like to use for everything. Now I don't worry about running out of light when we dry camp. When the battery goes down just plug in the battery for awhile and we are good to go.

The spring on the cigarette lighter plug (the tip) is WAY TOO strong and makes the plug pop out of the charging port. I took it apart, it's the spring under the fuse by the way. I cut to the soring down to decrease the spring tension. Also, I have to give the battery a jiggle to get it to charge. Ya get what ya pay for, but we knew that already. -jared

The Charger works perfectly to recharge the batteries for the Ryobi tools I keep in my truck. On trips I take the inflator and the work light just in case I need to change a tire. On our next vacation I plan to take the fan and lantern too. Charges batteries while the truck is off so batteries can be maintained. Another excellent Ryobi product!

If you've ever found yourself out and about with your Ryobi 18 volt rechargeable and batteries go dead, this is the ideal charger for you. It charges the 4 amp hour batteries in the same amount of time as the AC plug in charger. The charger is compact and easy to bring along. The only issue I've personally run into, I've found 1 or vehicles where the 12 volt outlet doesn't supply enough power to run the charger. No fault of the charger itself though. Over all, an excellent addition to your Ryobi 18 volt tools.

Works great for me. Has a couple scuffs and scrapes, nothing unusual for a refurb. Charges the batteries just fine and cost me half the price of a new one. A great value IMO
