The only problem I've had is the fitting that screws into the float & allows you to either plumb to that fitting or attach a hose. That fitting has pulled out of the float when a hose was attached. No matter how careful you are to protect it, calves will be calves and somehow they managed to pull it loose, the fitting still attached to the hose. I thought maybe I hadn't screwed it in tightly, although it never leaked, but a few days later they did it again! I've now built a "box" around it and secured the hose to the ground (& it's already safely behind the tank and next to the fence) and now we'll see what happens. Thanks for a great product....it still doesn't leak!

Great float valve for the stock tanks. First time buyers often overlook that the valve has 3/4" PIPE thread and requires a simple-to-install adapter if you are connecting to a garden hose for your water supply. They last for many years and appear to be more UV resistant plastic that some other brands.
