My carburator rebuild kit was surprisingly new. I've bought rebuild kits before for my quadrajet and they have always looked and felt the age. This kit was fresh and sealed, piston pump seal was flexible and not bridle. Gaskets were fresh and flexible with no worries of breaking. All the parts were there. Even came with the float.

    Not quite right

    There was no instructions/exploded diagram like you might find in other kits. The accelerator piston in the kit was too short so I moved the new soft rubber part over to the old piston assembly. Gaskets were fine.
