Good dependable product, a bit pricey for the spotlight camera but is dependable, good viewing screen, fairly easy set up and managing additional settings. Only thing I’d like to see Ring do is have the spotlight camera to trigger the alarm sound at the camera speaker automatically, instead of just sending an every to your phone. I understand most are mounted outside and they don’t want alarms going off all the time with motion from blowing branches etc...but mine is mounted inside of a garage so I can have eyes on in there, if I want an alarm in the garage it requires buying a separate “Dome” brand alarm.

One camera worked, the other camera failed to connect to Rings server. After 4 hours on the phone with Ring support, we were unable to get the new camera to work. A replacement will be s4nt out but no offer from Ring ( discount in price) for my troubles. In all, I wasted about 6 hours of my time trying to connect the camera.

Very pleased with the quality and options built into this camera. The "slow-mo" review of the entire 24 period is a positive extra. Low-level lighting is good but not impressed with the spot light. This is a quality product and appears to be engineered very well.

The AC Cord end is about 1.5" so if you need to go through a wall you will need to consider either a hole this size, putting power outside or cutting the cord and installing a new plug end (most likely voids any warranty). Wish that RING would consider installation more with a plug end that you could simply attach. You also have to factor in the $100 Cloud Plan if you want to review what is captured. 30 days are free.
