Everything I would have expected from RCBS. I got the 300 BO small base die set, and was not disappointed. Fit and function of the loaded round in my AR were perfect. I did add an independent crimp die just for my own peace of mind, but I think the seater/crimp die with the set is plenty good enough for the limited amount of recoil from a 300 BO in an AR.

With the shortages on reloading supplies and bullets being At such high prices and demand for the moment, I have not been able to get a chance to use the die set for reloading but from what I can see they are the right size and quality of the brand I’ve worked with as is perfect for what I’ve been needing to be able to reload so that I can to save money from such rediculous prices in a sub-sonic round with no punch beyond 175 meters. With the reloading set here the loading can be done in a super-sonic speed and with better FMJBT projectiles than with suppress sub- sonic one that can also reach out and touch the targets with multiple sources of greater impacts on target.

Typical RCBS quality which is great, easy to set but for big coated subsonics you need to order a separate Lee neck expander die. The taper crimp of this set works well.

My first set of 300 blk dies were Lee. Lee Dies have always been good. But in my AR chamber a few 300 blk brass were tight. A friend told me too use small base dies in AR. They work great ... Bullets are flying now :)

A must for those making 300 BLK out of 5.56/223 brass. It will pay for itself quickly. RCBS makes great dies and stand behind them . Perfect fit in AR with no cycling problems.
