While I bought this for my four year old daughter, my older two children seemed to enjoy the game more. They enjoyed being able to watch the cat play and make sure the little thing was fed. It was a bit more challenging for my four year old though. She was having a hard time understanding what all she needed to do to care the cat. I'm sure she'll catch on and master the game within a year, though.
Bought it as a gift for a friend who is a major cat lover. Because I bought it used, I tried it out before giving it to her. The game held my 3yr olds attention for 5min at most. The game play is anoying. The cat walks slower than a 90yr old woman after a hip replacement. You can't even explore the game features, as the slow walking of the cat puts you to sleep & makes you lose all intrest. I am glad I played this before giving it to my friend because now I will be buying her a different game because this would be an insult to give as a gift!
This game is ok. I got it for my five year old and although she likes playing with the mini games..... you have to play a lot or be really good at it to make money to supply the animal with its needs. Not to mention you can only save one game. I think they need to revamp this game and make it a little easier after all this game is suppose to be veered towards 5-9 year olds.
My 9 year old loves this game. My only complaint is it is only 1 player. :( She however plays it almost as often as her Mario Cart or her Madagascar Kart game. She also has a Wii babies game thats alot like this Purr Pals.
Pro: My 7 year old girl loves it! My 5 year old boy loves playing the mini-games. Cons: Only one save file allowed. So many people can't play their own games. Also, you have to spend a lot of time just getting rid of fleas, needs more flea control options.
