    Makes an easy task out of installing a SBC or BBC harmonic balancer. Lube it before use and it should last for years.

    Poor Quality!

    Unfortunately, when installing the Harmonic Balancer the main thread became damaged and unusable and the smaller threaded section began to stretch/pull away from the main part of the tool. Luckily the smaller threaded section didn't break off into the crankshaft. Maybe a stronger steel needs to be used and a tapered shoulder in place of the stepped area of the main thread down to the smaller thread may stop the "stretching" effect and prevent it from breaking off. As you would be aware: pushing the Harmonic Balance back onto the crankshaft takes a lot of grunt and strain! Maybe you would like the old tool back for inspection so you can make the suitable changes needed for a better quality tool!

    Good tool

    Helps press balancer back on crank straight without stressing bolt or dammaging threads but take care to clean & oil threads first. I would not use air tools for instalation a good heavy duty crescent wrench is all you need.
