I have several Diabetes cookbooks, but I am delighted with this marvelous book. There are so many things to create/make. I have already purchased ingredients for 7 meals. The recipes are easy and concise. The exchange listing is very helpful, as is the calories, fat, fiber listings, so I can convert the recipes to the Weight Watchers Points Program. The book begins with an educational section on the different food groups, why they are needed, and how to best combine foods. I have been a Diabetic Type II for 18 years, and I am still learning how to take care of me. I recommend this cookbook for new and old Diabetics, and well as pre-Diabetics. This cookbook will teach individuals how to delay the onset of Diabetes Type II. If you can only afford one cookbook for Diabetes care, this should be the book. I love it!!!Read full review
You don't have to be diabetic to use this cookbook. I am not a diabetic but I do like this book because it is full of recipes that are so delicious and cardio friendly. My fiance ask me for some of the recipes. The author makes wonderful use of lots of different spices so you don't miss the salt. I especially like the daily meal plan. This gives me a foundation to plan my own meals.

Just got it but looks really good, easy to make meals with everyday ingredients. The book is for my mother but I think I will be using it more than her, I'm doing WW and the recepies are perfect for my diet.
I'm not a diabetic, but thought this made sense for weight loss, plus there are some great recipes that don't require a lot of ingredients, most are staples you have in your cupboard!:)
