Did my homework to determine what triggers to use for synchronizing my Photogenic PL 2500 DR and PL 1250 powerlights beyond X-sync of 1/200th with my Canon 5D Mark III. I use one PW TT5 on camera and one on each monolight. After extensive trial I'm syncing up to 1/8000th without clipping and negligible gradation with the PL 2500 DR. On full power to 3/4 (1,000WS-750) the TT5s are set to the default offset 8 for White Lightning X3200 and at 1/2 power and below at 8 for X1600; which I use for the PL 1250s. Pocket Wizard's patented "HyperSync" system took me beyond X-sync to a higher level of lighting ability. Be advised that the longer the duration T.05 is the most useful and can be used with most monolights.

PW TT5s on Canon 5D Mark III and Photogenic PL2500DR and I'm synced up to 1/2000th at f/8 @250WS on my first testing with some gradation and virtually no banding. I have yet to test the PL1250s and a Solair 500. If all you want is basic radio triggers there are much less expensive ones, but for high power stop action or out shining the sun, this is the one.
