This is a brilliant machine with far too many bells and whistles for me, but those inclined can push ity in many directions for picture and sound. For me as a simple pop in and play it consumer - you simply can't fault the picture which is glorious.

This Pioneer Blu-Ray Player by Pioneer is above average player. Its not he cheapest or the top of the range but the output or the Video / Audio is top class. The only thing that lets it down is the loading speed. When turning on from start it takes a while to the system to let you open the tray. Its the only bug I can see but when its up and running its great. Blu-Rays take a little time to start but that seams to be normal. Blu-Ray Java is quite slow to load and Blu-Ray Live is also slow even on a good broadband speed. Lets hope Software Updates can fix these issues. One thing Pioneer could change is viewing a Photo DVD (JPG on a CD/DVD) the thumbnails take ages to load and you can't just see a file list, would be so much quicker. All in all a good Blu-ray DVD Player.
No frills Blu-ray player. Great build quality. Fantastic sound and picture. Blu-ray load on the slow side, but worth the wait. Last of true Pioneer players (newer ones are re-badged Sharps). Highly recommended if picture and sound rather than internet gimmickry is important.
