New life for an old Sonicare toothbrush
My Sonicare Flexcare battery wouldn't charge. We bought a new Sonicare toothbrush and were able to eliminate the charger as being the bad component. I took a chance and ordered a new battery for the toothbrush. This one did the trick, and seems to be working fine so far, and I'm happy with how it turned out. Note that the pins on this replacement battery stick straight up, whereas the ones on the original battery are offset to the side a bit to line up with the holes on the circuit board (hence 4 stars instead of 5). I had to use needlenose pliers to gently bend the leads on the new battery to match the angle on the leads on the old battery. Once that was done, it slipped right in place! Removing the old battery was the hardest, most time-consuming part, but with the help of a few good ... My Sonicare Flexcare battery wouldn't charge. It was a satisfying experience to fix it myself, but next time, I think I'll just go ahead and buy a whole new brush instead.

Fitment could be better
Well for anyone attempting a battery swap, this is not a direct replacement. The pins on the original are offset from battery center while the pins on this battery are end-center. It is not an easy task getting the pins bent to fit. The pins are flat (not exactly as pictured) and spot welded to the battery. The welds could be better as both of the pins welds broke while fitting. I ended up soldering them back on. Not the best as that kind of heat is bad for batteries.
