I purchased these steps before at full price and thought they were terrific. My two cats loved them too. Unfortunately, they loved the carpet covering and, after two years, scratched it into oblivion. So I thought I'd replace the steps on eBay and save a little money. Well, the steps arrived in pieces and I had to return them. I do recommend these steps overall. They're quite attractive, very wide and deep, and my cats can lie on them. They also convert to a ramp and can flatten up for storage and be carried with the handle. (The handle on the steps from my eBay order came off immediately.) I will order them again, this time at full price.

Still working with my dog to use this vs jumping high on the mattress. Steps are sturdy, I stood on one a bit leaning into a wall and they were sturdy. Carpet on top gives traction for a dog with his nails and feet. Tall enough it puts it right to the height of my footboard.

Bought this before. This time the screws that hold slats in are small. One broke off when dog stepped on it. I replaced the screws. Had that not happened would have given 5 stars. Otherwise good quality

My cousin's Golden has arthritis. I wanted something that had the option of both steps and ramp. I had seen this decades ago in a magazine called Skymall that was distributed on airplanes. I never forgot this item because it was unique. When Norway needed a ramp I remembered this but Skymall was out of business. I searched tirelessly to find this ramp. This is Norway's second ramp. The other got broken when it was hit by a vehicle. I had to buy another because Norway was comfortable with this version. The only issue we had with the first was eventually the brackets that would lock into place when assembled were not as sturdy as they were 7 years ago. Very pleased with the longevity and value. Also, not super heavy as other we tried. Only convertible stairs/ramp I know of.
