    Probably the best seller I have ever dealt with on eBay for 3 reasons. Lightning fast shipping. I literally had it the next day. Wow! It was packaged better than anything else I have ever bought on here. A box inside a box with the item in super thick styrofoam and then surrounded with those air bubble plastic wraps. And last but not least this is one super quality unit. Much much heavier than expected and just top notch quality. Straight out of the 80’s Japanese electronics style quality.

    this is a must have item for my shop. somehow all of my tools and files are getting magnetized and the little chips and splinters end up in places where you don't want them. Some times my shopvack can't suck the chips up because of the magnetic attraction.

    This Old Tony showed one so I grab it. Works very well.

    I saw a This Old Tony video on plate demagnetizers and knew that I needed one. It seems that everything in my home shop is getting magnetized and picking up swarf (chips). It is hard to get a good reading on a caliper when there is a chip under it. This unit works very well. I passed the tools over it once for small tools and several times for larger tools and now they won't pick up chips. I was concerned about demagnetizing the calipers but did it anyway. I removed the battery and passed them over the plate slowly. Put the battery back in an they function just fine. I would recommend this to anyone with a shop that has problems with chips sticking to tools, you should grab one.

    Works well

    Works as described, has completely demagnetized anything I've run across it...screw drivers won't even pick up a tiny metal chip. My only complaint, is it should come with a plastic separator to put on the demag plate, instead of leaving it up to the owner to source something (as the instructions suggest). I 3D printed a plastic cap out of PETG for the task.
