STURDY and Comfortable
I weigh about 250. This is a really comfortable seat. It's easy to set up and collapse and put away for and load up for a gig. It has 3 options for how tall you want the chair to sit. I only wish that it had the option to make it just a little bit lower. I am 5 feet 5 inches tall. When I have it to the shortest setting, my legs are at an angle a little higher than 90 degrees. Other than that, this seat is perfect for me. I don't mind that it sits a little bit higher, but I might eventually drill another hole to make it just a little bit shorter for my comfort. SUGGEST USING BLACK GAFFERS TAPE AROUND THE RUBBER FEET & METAL TUBING TO KEEP THEM FROM SLIDING OFF AS THEY CAN BE LOST EASILY IN A DARK VENUE. EASILY ADJUSTABLE HEIGHT. Really good deal
I got this as part of an accessory package for an electric piano, and I thought it was very nice, but I'm a neophyte. Then my friend, who is an excellent pianist, came over to check out my new piano, and she was really impressed with the whole package, and said she wanted the seat for herself. :-) It's comfortable, lightweight but very sturdy, and adjusts just about as much as you can ask for. Children and very short people might have to put a stool or a phone book under their feet. (Phone book??? What's that?) Anyway, at this price I'm considering buying one for my friend - a gift I know she'll love. No downside/con to it, as far as I can tell.
