A young writer learns the wisdom of the title of Thomas Wolfe's YOU CAN'T GO HOME AGAIN in this character-driven drama series. Bryan Greenberg (PRIME, ONE TREE HILL) stars as Nick Garrett, a successful author who's having trouble putting pen to paper in his New York apartment. But when he returns home for some inspiration after a 10-year absence, he finds that small towns aren't as welcoming as one might imagine. His first novel was a little too autobiographical for his former friends' tastes, but that's not his only trouble. He still has feelings for his old girlfriend (THAT 70S SHOW's Laura Prepon), but she's now a single mother, and her nine-year-old son might just be Bryan's child. This release includes the entire first season of the drama, which also stars Tom Berenger.

    GREAT TV SHOW!

    Really great TV drama, with a lot of comedy, super acting, cool characters that you grow to like and want to follow right from the start. Hated seeing it close its run after a couple of seasons, but both season one and season two are excellent and worth owning. Great New England Fall landscapes and some nice extras on the disc sets. Good buy all the way around.

    LOVE this show!!!

    I decided to watch this show when it first came out b/c Laura Prepon was on it and I knew her from That 70s Show. I fell in love with this show and all of its characters and all the unanswered questions that came with it. By second season, I had my mom hooked too. We couldn't wait each week until the next episode. We became attached to the story lines and all the characters. When I found out the show didn't get renewed, I went to every site I could and signed the petitions and filled out comments about how much I loved this show. I still can't believe its over!!!

    October Road/Pay October Road Forward

    October Road is one of those great feel good type shows. While the first and second season were fabulous, the show is currently in danger of cancellation. The fans are campaigning to save this show by purchasing 1st season dvd's and donating to their local libraries.     So good!

    The story line is the typical small town story of going home, but the actors and situations bring it to life in a way that it doesn't seem like your typical small town story, but something that is personal to you. The actors work well together and the show just brings you in and makes you want to see what happens to each of the characters.

    Great show, should still be on the air

    Story line and acting are great. TV dramas should be this good all the time. Bryan Greenberg (now on How To Make It In America) shows why he's an up and comer and one to be watched. All the films and shows he's been in have been great performances.
