My laptop (HP Envy 15t) came with Win 8.1 and I upgraded to 10 a while back. Apparently, the WiFi card my rig came with was not quite compatible with W10 updates... the more updates it received the less functional it became, until it stopped working completely. Fortunately, I found this card that is W10 compatible and even comes with Bluetooth 4.0 (my original did not have BT). The card was super easy to replace and got my WiFi up and running at even faster speeds than I was capable of before. Unfortunately, the BT feature has not been working. I think that it has to do with my computer (since I can pair but can't stay connected), and not the card itself, though I can't be certain. Anyway, I never had BT on my laptop before so it doesn't bother me.
