Some Dell systems have firmware to detect aftermarket chargers and post an error message saying that the system is not charging. The vendor I bought from made it clear that I would get an original Dell charger, with the protective plastic still on it (proving it was new). And a new, original is what I got. Spend the money for the real thing.
