NOISE ANNOYS SIMON 'You Say It I'll Know It' is the debut 12 track LP from East Devons blistering indie power pop foursome. All tracks were recorded at the bands garage / workshop studio and produced by Andy Fonda and released on Pop Noise Records run by Singer/songwriter/guiarist Simon Bish. If you like your indie music slightly retro with the feel of the late 80s/early 90s, you won't find better than East Devon's finest purveyors of catchy indie pop, Noise Annoys Simon. With a line up that includes former Thrilled Skinny frontman Simon Bish, their songs have an infectious simplicity that you just can't help humming along to. The band have an ear for a good chorus and the lyrics are filled with well observed lines and phrases that capture the essence of what indie pop should be about. Peardrop Sweetness has all the trademarks you'd expect from Noise Annoys Simon, and there are hooks and melody aplenty all packaged up neatly in a three minute indie pop single. This kind of material suits Simon Bish's delicately tuneful voice perfectly, whilst there isn't a better exponent of poppy indie backing vocals than Andy Ward. Check this band out!
