Excellent graphing calculator with a crisp colour screen. Functions are easy to find and the keypad is top quality and logically laid out. Multi-touch screen means that it has tablet-like abilities such as pinch to zoom. Battery lid is removable and an easy to source Samsung Galaxy S3 battery is a perfect fit and 100% compatible.

Great product. A brilliant mathematical and plotting device and does everything you expect and more but not very user friendly and not very intuitive. Pity there is no I/R as in all previous HP calculators. No way to print inputs or outputs. Also RPN not very well supported. A good buy for a student but users of previous HP advanced calculators might be disappointed at HP's departure from their old and trusted operating systems.

After doing lots of research into ti Casio hp and all the different models for a: a decent calculator b: value for money, I compared: nspire ,nspire CX (with and without CAS) Casio classpad cg50 etc and how you can sideload CAS into that and hp prime etc The best value for money was definitely not ti. They are not straight forward to use and they are expensive compared to other options. Between the Casio and hp, both were fairly easy to use and cheap but since CAS was an option I wanted, the cas on Casio didn't seem as good as hp and at a similar price, I may aswell get the hp The hp is easy to use and powerful. Touchscreen is accurate even when text is smaller but fingers fat it still works. The cas works great and the calculator has loads of different settings to help you get the intended output. It has lots of different modes but you can add your own apps or programs if you find out create your own. Compared to ti and Casio it is quickest at processing, see speed comparison in YouTube, so you won't be waiting for any answer. The catalogue of functions is massive so you might have to look at the function guide to find the ones you want but there's an inbuilt help button with examples that you can try on the calculator so if you forget how the function is used, it will help. As for CAS, it's good! It can do pretty much any calculation you want. It can't do parametric differentiation but you can define that yourself. It can do implicit and partial though. Sometime it has a problem with simplifying down though like it might leave a long fraction that can be simplified to like cos^3x but it won't unless you tell it to rewrite as a function of cos. I'd still buy it over ti anyday. If you're unsure, download the emulator of hp prime or ti nspire CX and compare which you like more, this is what I did Bonus: the battery for hp prime is Samsung S3 battery so it's not expensive to replace it your old one diesRead full review

Not a revision C (light blue text on the keypad) as advertised, but still a great calculator. The Samsung Galaxy S3 1500mAh battery fits (but needs a little bit of cardboard to stay in place). It's a good price and the calculator looked really nice (no scratches), so leaving this as four stars, BUT if you need the Rev C, this is not it! With that said, this is an AWESOME calculator and well suited to education as well as professional engineering. It's also acceptable on the SAT's (but not ACT).

I've been looking for this model for a long time at an attractive price, and now I've found it. Minuses - unusual working methods that require the user to get used to - high power consumption, but it is associated with high speed and a large screen Positive - the price at which it is sold today - it is beautiful and made in the corporate style of the iconic HP calculators - keys that are similar to the keys of HP calculators from the 1980s - affordable and inexpensive battery - good manufacturer support, detailed documentation and updated software - a large community of fans of HP calculators, which will give additional support - high speed and availability of all the functions that are required for study and work Buy this calculator and you will be immersed in the world of mathematics and programming for a long time.workRead full review
