I am a road cyclist for many years and used many types of safety lights on my bikes. HOWEVER Niterider OMEGA 300 Lumens LED Bike tail Light USB Rechargeable safety light is by far the BEST. I have installed on my bike. I feel safe because of the extremely bright illumination, making everyone (motorist, pedestrians and cyclists) from a safe distance, aware that you are there. This is money well invested in helping to improve my RIDING SAFETY.

Light arrived over discharged, lithium batteries have to be between 2.8v and 4.2v, this arrived at 2.3v, so its old stock thats been sitting on the shelf for too long. charging via usb didnt work (lawyer feature), so brought the battery up with my icharger 1040....light is good, very bright, long runtime.

Do my riding in the daylight, this lite is the one you want to buy for daylight riding. With it’s different settings and its brightness during the day. I have been told by people who have driven by me that the light was so bright it’s the first thing they saw. Nite time unreal. I did a lot of researching lites before buying this one. And there are many. This is the top of the line. And a great price. It is long lasting and I just plug it into phone wall charger. Love it great lite ,and I feel a lot safer riding with this behind me...

I have used the nite rider omega 300 now everyday for about 2 weeks. It attaches very easily to my bike and has worked perfect so far. I only ride in the day time so I leave it on the pulsing brightest setting and it is very bright easily seen in the day time. The battery lasts about 6 hours on this setting. The quality of the build seems to be very good also. I would certainly recommend this product.

It's bright. On the 2nd blinking level (so it lasts for more than 7 hour rides) I've had cars pull up to let me know how well they could see me way back. The runtime is also much longer than previous niterider taillights I've used. The only part I can't understand is why they don't use the same mounting system for all their lights. I had my last one with 3 mounting brackets so I could switch between bikes, now I'm starting over (otherwise I'd give it 5 stars). Others have mentioned water resistance as an issue but I have a dedicated bike for bad weather with fenders so that's not an issue for me. If I get caught out a storm that wasn't anticipated I keep a small piece of stretchtite plastic wrap to keep the bottom dry.
